Even relatively new homes can benefit from a kitchen remodel. These homeowners felt that this home built in the 1990's was ready for a complete overhaul. A large section of the wall between the kitchen and the den was removed to give the home a more open feel. The appliance configuration was re-worked to suit the homeowners. A built-in nook with abundant storage was installed in the bay window area. A small portion of the garage was "re-purposed" for a large pantry area and a "drop-zone" for mail, paperwork, and electronic devices that needed to be recharged. The cabinets that were used were a stained maple with a deep ebony glaze. New lighting, KitchenAid appliances, granite countertops, tile backsplash, and a new lighting package were all part of this remodel.
