Last Call for 2015 Parade of Homes

Twice a year members of the Greensboro Builders Association open the doors to their newly constructed homes and allow the public a peek inside a wide variety of homes to see the latest in styles, innovations and amenities during the Parade of Homes. This year is no exception. The most unique house on the tour, and sure to be one of the most talked about, is by Kevin Jones Design-Build. It’s the smallest – at 200 square feet – and the least expensive – at $38,900.

House Helper: Precautions Needed to Protect Wood Floors

Dear House Helper: My hardwood floors are becoming severely scratched. How can I fix that and what can I do to protect them in the future? Eventually all hardwood floors will need to be refinished. Unless you ahve some experience, this is really a job for a professional. Rental centers have sanders and buffers available but it is easy to damage hardwood floors with these powerful machines. More
